Yes, I changed my name at Deviant Art but I haven't changed my nickname at all.

I am known everywhere as raVen MacKay (or ravenmackay).
I called my first website Raven's Nest so I choose that name for my DA-account too. That was a big mistake.

People keep asking me why I haven't a DeviantArt account. I have to send them the link.

I'm not a fan of changing names and nicknames.
I was quite upset when an artist took almost the same alias as I have. I've got the nickname Raven since around 25 years. I knew the guy who took almost the same alias as I have. What made me upset was that people began to wonder if I'm a fan of his and took HIS name.
I had been thinking to change my alias, but I had this name since 20 years, so I kept it, and will keep it till I die! No one will take my alias away! Well, and I'm a Mackay and even if I'd ever marry I'll keep my clan-name!

Anyway. People will find me now easily on DA, and it's not a big change from Ravens-Nest to raVen-MacKay, isn't it?
