Watermarks
I'm sorry for all the watermarks. But I was looking for some inspirations and found my own pictures on several other pages, blogs etc. without any credit. This is not the first time that people used pictures from me. And I know many of you had already the same problem. I hate these watermarks, but as an artist who'd love to sell my own stuff, it makes me angry when successful blogger, pages do use my work without permission.
From Ravens-Nest to raVen-MacKay
Yes, I changed my name at Deviant Art but I haven't changed my nickname at all.
I am known everywhere as raVen MacKay (or ravenmackay).
I called my first website Raven's Nest so I choose that name for my DA-account too. That was a big mistake.
People keep asking me why I haven't a DeviantArt account. I have to send them the link.
I'm not a fan of changing names and nicknames.
I was quite upset when an artist took almost the same alias as I have. I've got the nickname Raven since around 25 years. I knew the guy who took almost the same alias as I have. What made me upset was that people began to wonder if I'm a fan of his and took HIS na

I'm a big, big Google fan. I know most people are at Facebook, but I actually hat FB. I hope Google+ will become bigger as Facebook. I don't think so, but I hope! "The hope dies last!" Anyway. I hope there are a lot art and music fans who'd like to connect with me and share ideas or what ever.
My profile is stil quite empty and clean, but it'll change soon.. I hope! :)

Using other people's stuff
I know, nobody will ever read this, but I hope only some will do.
It makes me quite angry that some people have to use my stuff. I know I'm not the only one. But I don't get much attention as 'artist'. Sometimes I think people don't care. But when I look aroud, I find my stuff on other peoples pages. I've deleted so many arts on here, too. Because some claim them as their own and get much more attention.
I find my stuff at pages like: "the best brushes of all time" or "the coolest dark artworks" etc.
If it is so cool I would be really pleased when these people would tell or ask me to link my stuff. I have absolutelly no problem with that.
